and Guest Farm |
In
north eastern part
of Namibia, about
85 km from Windhoek.
Huntable area about
50.000 ha, of which about 10.000 ha are fenced game
proof (Game Ranch).
Game species/Hunting offer:
Cape Eland, Greater Kudu, Oryx (Gemsbok), Black Wildebeest, Blue
Wildebeest, Waterbuck,
Cheetah, Leopard, Red Hartebeest, Warthog, Steenbok,
Baboon, Black-backed Jackal, Ostrich, Springbok, Impala, Zebra,
Game Birds.
Special features: 5 big guest rooms with own
bath/toilet. Take part on the typical life on the ranch with
cattle-, horse- and ostrich breeding. A swimming pool is
available for a cool refreshment at noon. In the evening one
tells about the hunting experience of the day with "farmer
pralines" and drinks at the grill fire. The farm Otjozonjati is
enclosed onto three sites from mountains. In this mountains the
river Swakop has its source, which extends over the whole farm
area.
300 years old camel thorn trees line the banks of the Swakop
River. In the valley there are solitary cliffs from which one
has a wonderful view on camel thorn groves and bush savannah. At
different water holes one can observe the animal and feathered
world in their full splendour.
