In the  western part  of Namibia, about 265 km  from Windhoek.
Huntable area about 29.000 ha open hunting ground, not fenced game proof.
We prefer hunting and not harvesting! No domestic animals, the ground belongs to the game. No "put and take", only endemic game species.
Game species/Hunting offer: Grater Kudu, Oryx ( Gemsbok), Hartmann's (Mountain) Zebra, Steenbok,  Springbok, Leopard (24 places with baits), Giraffe, Hyena, Baboon, Warthog, Klipspringer, Caracal, Ostrich, Black-backed Jackal, African Wild Cat.
Special features: 2 double rooms with shower/toilet and 2 double rooms with community shower/toilet; mobile phone reception; bow hunting is possible. There is no current available, only oil and gas lamps. No domestic cattle, the area is malaria-free. If you want to switch of the daily stress without clock, TV, handy, computer and "far from the madding crowd", then Wilsonfontein is the right place for you. We offer you star clear nights at the campfire (Africa pure!), mountaineering in all difficulties, unchanged nature, unexplored as well marked hiking tours, kind-rich game observations, unique rock engravings and paintings, Bushman pots, stone tools, mineral searching and beautiful semi-desert biotope with high mountain-chain.
